My name is Ryon Orendain. I have been at Jackson Elementary in Plano Texas for 7 years now. I have been teaching Third Grade for the past  4 years where I serve as my campus’s Third Grade Team Leader. Prior to Third Grade I taught Kindergarten for 3 years. I LOVE math and finding fun, hands on ways to teach my students each day no matter what the grade level!

 

I just recently got married in October to my wonderful husband, Michael. We had a beach wedding in Mexcio that was just gorgeous! We live with our puppy, Rocco  who we  love very much! I went to college on a softball scholarship, and still enjoy working out, running, and anything active!

 

In the future, I hope to become a principal. Servant leadership is truly my passion. Each day that I can do something to help others learn and grow, children and adults alike, is another step closer to my goal.

I am so blessed to be a part of such an amazing journey in Jamaica for my second year!
